Good Victorian Gothic Revival Oak Hall chair, arched cresting rail carved with foliage quatrefoil the verso with a circular brass plaque inscribed presented by Samuel Thompson, rectangular back with architectural splats with dog tooth edge, the mid-rail carved with a row of four-leaf motifs, the lower rail with a mirrored row of tulips, panel seat, semi chamfered square legs, and rectangular stretchers. Cleaned and waxed by ourselves using traditional methods.
